| For many years, I wanted to be doing something to enhance the spiritual life of the communities I lived in. Sure, I met a few neighbours and maybe even invited them to church, but I felt as though I could be doing more. However, I didn’t really know what to do. |

| I take no credit for it. It was something I just fell into. It came about because we didn’t have enough money for a second car and I had to take the city bus to work Later, my two daughters had to take the same city bus to junior high school and then high school. |

| Help is a phone call away |
| Over a quarter-century, its volunteers have prayed with and for more than 8.2 million people experiencing problems in areas such as family, physical illness and Christian growth. Some clients have even been on the brink of suicide. Now, the Crossroads Prayer Partner program needs more volunteers to ensure it can continue to be a light in the darkness for those going through the travails of life. |
