Manitoba Legislature Recognizes Providence as University College
Manitoba – On June 16, 2011, the 39th Manitoba Legislative Assembly (MLA) unanimously added the designation university to Providence University College, recognizing the province’s largest self-standing private post-secondary institution.

Tyndale to Consolidate Onto One Campus

Major New Scholarship Opportunity Announced
The Arthur Custance Centre for Science and Christianity has announced a new scholarship program for students of Redeemer University College.The Rescuing Science Scholarships are made up of 10 merit-based, competitive awards. The total value of the awards is $13,000, including a $5,000 first-place prize. All full-time Redeemer students are eligible for the awards.

October 25 was a tragic day for Boon Khor of Mississauga, ON. He learned that his wife had murdered their 15-year-old son, Tony. Tony was autistic. Why she did it is a mystery to the grief-stricken father, but neighbours say they saw signs of stress as Ms. Khor fought to stay ahead of her son’s deepening condition, while Mr. Khor worked as a consultant to provide for his family.

Providence College Welcomes New Communications and Media Chair
OTTERBURNE, MB - Nicholas Greco considers himself a Communications and media scholar, a musicologist, and a popular music researcher. Greco begins teaching at Providence College in Otterburne, MB in September 2008, as program chair for the school’s four-year-old Communications and Media Program.
