Providence College Welcomes New Communications and Media Chair
OTTERBURNE, MB - Nicholas Greco considers himself a Communications and media scholar, a musicologist, and a popular music researcher. Greco begins teaching at Providence College in Otterburne, MB in September 2008, as program chair for the school’s four-year-old Communications and Media Program.

Grim statistics and often-negative reports circulate about the Jane-Finch neighbourhood in Toronto. In contrast, the beaming smiles of ten graduates lit up Agape Ministries on Oakdale Road, where a small ceremony, on May 29, 2008, gave hope of wonderful things to come for the community.

Legacy of Faith and Education to Continue

Tyndale University College & Seminary officially kicked off its Uncommon Ground Capital Campaign for $58 million on May 31, 2008. With several dignitaries present, the event marked one of the largest fundraising efforts by a Christian group in Canadian history.

John Wesley course offered two weekends
TORONTO, ON – Tyndale Seminary announced the appointment of Dr. Howard A. Snyder as Distinguished Professor, Chair of Wesley Studies, effective July 1, 2007. The seminary aims to draw back occasional graduate students through a new (additional) course on John Wesley offered on two weekends.

TORONTO, ON -- In a transaction allowing both parties to pursue their respective missions in Christian education and community service, Tyndale University College & Seminary will acquire from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto the nearby 56.3 acre (22.8 hectare) Morrow Park property located south of Steeles Avenue at 3377 Bayview Avenue in Toronto.

McMaster Divinity College awards honorary doctorate to Rev. James Reese
At the 49th Convocation of McMaster Divinity College on May 16th, 2006, Rev. James A. Reese was awarded the Doctor of Divinity (Honoris Causa). Rev. Reese is Pastor Emeritus of Benton Street Baptist Church in Kitchener, Ontario, and the founder in 1965 of Christian Horizons, a ministry to the developmentally challenged.

Tyndale University College has announced the appointment of
Dr. Paul Wong and Dr. Lilian Wong to its faculty, effective August 2006. The announcement highlights a major plan Tyndale University College has, to develop a unique honours program beginning this fall, that features two tracks in psychology: one academic and one applied.
