Exclusive Maranatha News Interview with Bill Gaither
Special Souvenir Edition – (September 2006)

The man whose music has brought enjoyment and spiritual encouragement to millions, and who runs a multi-million dollar business empire, is plain speaking and gives God the credit

Toronto—Bill Gaither started his musical career while he was still a college student, by founding the Bill Gaither Trio with his brother and sister in 1956.

When asked by Maranatha News 50 years later if he ever dreamed that his career now would be busier and higher-profile than ever, he laughs and remarks, "I'm blown away! It's been amazing. If I would have sat down and written out what would happen in my life, I would never have had a clue that this was all going to happen."

Artist’s medium conveys inspiring message
William Ho’s paintings are majestic in their beauty. Using a technique known as Chinese brush painting, Ho’s art features classic Chinese watercolours on rice paper, surrounded with fine silk, simply framed. His landscapes, seascapes, blossoms and abstracts mix delicacy with intensity, but each piece is a work born of the artist’s passion. And Ho’s passion can be summed up in one word: hope.

Painter of Light credits the Light of the World

Oil paints are scattered everywhere. A large granite fireplace — big enough to walk into — adorns one wall. And in the centre of what Kincade calls a “volcanic cone of debris and activity,” rests his easel.

John Tesh: “Letting People Connect to God”
John Tesh once told an interviewer he’d rather be “beaten than ignored.” It was a surprising statement, even if it was said in half-jest. At six-foot-six, blond and handsome, Tesh, now 52, is a presence that’s hard to overlook. And with three gold albums as well as a career that includes six Emmys, two Grammy nominations and several number-one radio hits, it’s clear the world hasn’t ignored him.
